Chargers WR Eddie Royal (toe) did not practice Wednesday. Royal's toe injury might keep him out against the Jaguars, which would boost the value of Keenan Allen and Vincent Brown.

Chargers WR Malcom Floyd is heading to Injured Reserve, out for the season.

Floyd's agent said he'll be back next season, but for this year he's done after getting hurt in Week 2. The Chargers will go with Keenan Allen, Vincent Brown and Eddie Royal. The team also just signed Lavelle Hawkins.

Former Titans receiver Lavelle Hawkins is signing with the Chargers today.

This is likely an indication that Malcom Floyd won't be back in the near future. Keenan Allen, Vincent Brown and Eddie Royal will continue to see the most work.

Chargers HC Mike McCoy says WR Keenan Allen (knee) was sent to athletic trainer's room midway through practice to get treatment.

He had knee problems in Cal, so this is something to monitor during camp. Allen is in line to be the WR3 or WR4 for the Chargers depending on the status of Malcom Floyd (sprained knee). At this point the rookie is only worth a late-round flier.
