If Ty Montgomery suits up this week he will provide fantasy owners with a sigh of relief. After leaving last week's game early thanks to broken ribs, it seemed Montgomery would not see the field for a while, but a return to the practice field is a great sign. It's still early in the week, so this will be a situation to monitor until game day inactives are reported. If Montgomery were held out this week, Aaron Jones or Jamaal Williams (also dealing with a knee injury) would be suitable replacements against a Cowboys defense allowing 7.5 catches and 68 receiving yards per game to the running back position this season.
