Bills HC Chan Gailey just confirmed Fred Jackson is OUT this week.
Fantasy Impact:
C.J. Spiller will get the start against an improving Jets rush defense. Spiller is averaging 5.5 yards per carry, but it's tough to get excited about his prospects for Week 12 given the matchup and his history of disappointment. Still, he is in line to get 15-20 touches, so that's something.

This opens the door to potentially benching Justin Fields if he has another bad game.
“When you look at what Fields did, the games that he played,” Glenn told reporters. “Listen, I didn’t think he was bad at all. I actually thought he did some pretty good things in those four games. In this fifth game, he took a step back. I’m with you guys 100 percent. And we can’t have that. And we have to get better than that. And he knows that. And he knows that better than anyone. So I don’t think you try to bench a player after having one true bad game. Because I thought the other games he played fairly well.”

Fields' job looks to be safe for Week 7, which is a home game against the Panthers and a possible chance for the Jets offense to get right. But, the Panthers have been better lately. The Jets then play the Bengals in Week 8 before a bye in Week 9. Taylor would likely get the chance to start if the team does make a move, but these next couple weeks look to be a perfect opportunity for Fields to solidify his starting position.

Rams WR Puka Nacua, the NFL’s leader in catches, suffered an ankle sprain that will likely cause him to miss time, per me and Mike Garafolo.

Rapoport went on to speculate that it would make sense for Nacua to be out next week against the Jaguars, then the Rams a bye in Week 8, which would allow Nacua to regroup and further assess his injury. It's possible Nacua could be back for Week 10 if this is what the Rams opt to do. Nacua will be missed in fantasy lineups no matter how long he's out. Adams would be the clear WR1 but it could mean more looks for Atwell and Whittington. TE Higbee and the running backs could pick up the slack as well. In an update to this story, Nacua is considered day to day by the team, which does give him a chance to play in Week 7.

Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka will miss time with a hamstring injury.
Related players: Baker Mayfield, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Jalen McMillan, Sterling Shepard, Tez Johnson, Ryan Miller, Kameron Johnson
Egbuka will get an MRI today. Rapoport said the injury doesn't seem as serious as Evans' hamstring injury, but it's looking like he's going to at least miss this week's game against the Lions. The Bucs then play the Saints before their Week 9 bye, so it's very possible we don't see Egbuka until Week 10. Rapoport said Evans is getting closer to a return and Godwin is week to week. Anyone on the Bucs who plays the WR position could be in play for fantasy lineups, at least for Week 7. It was Kam Johnson and Tez Johnson who both stood out with TD catches against the 49ers.
