Only four quarterbacks threw for at least 300 yards in Week 7, but it was still a good week for the position. At least two touchdown passes were recorded by 12 quarterbacks, with Joe Burrow leading the way with four of them. Five quarterbacks also recorded a rushing score.

Week 8 brings yet another slate with four teams on a bye. With regard to the impact on the quarterback position in fantasy football, the most notable players who will be on the sidelines are Brock Purdy and Tyler Shough. That could force some fantasy managers to hit the waiver wire for a streaming replacement.

For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data.

To provide advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 7 Recap

It was a great week for our streamers, with three of our four picks finishing inside the top eight at the position. Leading the group was Malik Willis, who helped the Dolphins earn their first win of the season by knocking off the Jets. It was his first game of the year with at least two touchdown passes. He also recorded a rushing touchdown for the second straight game.

Tanner McKee was the worst performer of the week, finishing as QB22. It didn’t help his cause that DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) were unable to play. The Eagles lost to the Cowboys on Monday Night Football, with McKee throwing for just 211 yards to go along with one touchdown and one interception.
