The Best Pick in Every Round of Your Fantasy Draft

We hype up countless players every draft cycle, but it is impossible to land them all. In this article, I’ll walk through my single favorite player from each of the first 10 rounds of fantasy drafts, according to our multi-site ADP tool. These are the players I am most excited to draft this year at cost, and I would gladly take them at least a round earlier than their current ADP.

Round 1: RB Jahmyr Gibbs, Lions

It’s hard to go wrong with anyone in the first round, but Jahmyr Gibbs is the player that I am most excited about. Gibbs is coming off an electric sophomore campaign, where he racked up nearly 2,000 scrimmage yards and a league-leading 20 touchdowns en route to an RB2 finish in fantasy points per game. In 2025, I think Gibbs has a real chance at not only being the top running back in fantasy, but also having a legitimately historic season at the position.

Gibbs has averaged over 30 PPR fantasy points in his six career games without David Montgomery, which gives him the upside of one of the greatest fantasy seasons ever if he is the full-time starter. While that may be unrealistic, I do expect the Lions to start tapering Montgomery’s usage down this year as he is coming off a serious knee injury. I also would not be surprised if the Lions new offensive coordinator, John Morton, relies more on Gibbs, his star player, if the Lions offense struggles to match the high-octane outputs of years past under Ben Johnson. Gibbs has scored 17+ fantasy PPG even when he splits snaps with Montgomery, and his versatility on the ground and through the air gives him a rather high fantasy floor.

I prefer Gibbs to Bijan Robinson, the current consensus top running back, because he offers a higher ceiling. The Lions rank seventh in Vegas' implied points this season, while the Falcons are down at 20th. This means Gibbs has a much higher chance of scoring double-digit touchdowns than Robinson, and offers similarly enticing pass-catching stability. I would not blink an eye at taking Gibbs with the 1.01, as he has prime Christian McCaffrey-esque potential this season.

Round 2: WR A.J. Brown, Eagles
