Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 11: Musgrave an Integral Part of Packers Offense
The bottom was bound to drop out on the recent resurgence of the tight end position after 15 players hit double-digit half-PPR fantasy points two weeks ago, and only five options reached that mark in Week 10. There were still some bright spots—including Michael Mayer’s first career touchdown—and we’re getting some more consistent production from other up-and-coming players to use to our advantage going forward.
There are four more bye weeks here in Week 11 (Falcons, Colts, Patriots, Saints), with Taysom Hill being the biggest name for our fantasy aspirations.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Week 10 Review
There’s no two ways about it; last week was a miserable one for streaming candidates, and we only hit one TE1. Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry were both a part of offenses that benched their starting quarterbacks and failed to reach 200 yards of passing offense, while Daniel Bellinger watched on as Tommy DeVito finished the Giants' embarrassing performance with 86 yards on 27 pass attempts.
We could brew on those poor outcomes, or we can move forward and hope that we find some streaming options who don’t play for a 1963 AFL franchise. Onwards and upwards.
- Luke Musgrave - 7.4 points (TE11)
- Hunter Henry - 3.6 points (TE22)
- Daniel Bellinger - 4.4 points (TE19)
