Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 9: The Return of Tyler Conklin
With six weeks’ worth of information at our disposal, the true crux of the streaming method has molded into shape. Now with a great understanding of how teams will look to employ the tight ends in the receiving game, we can avert our eyes to the waiver wire to find some looked-over players who could benefit our fantasy teams in the short term and, possibly, the long term.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Week 8 Review
There were some ups and down in Week 8, with Greg Dulcich continuing to string together great performances while Harrison Bryant logged 52 snaps without a single target. We still landed two different TE1 outcomes, so we will look to duplicate that and more here in Week 9.
