NBA Awards Betting Preview: Coach of the Year

This article marks the official halfway point of the 4for4 NBA Awards Betting previews, as MVP and Most Improved Player were covered previously, with Coach of the Year (COY) on tap next.

The COY award market is a bit more difficult and compact than other awards, seeing that there are only 30 possible candidates to choose from with the betting odds lacking a clear favorite. Because of this, NBA Analysts Rick Camp and Joe Metz will be ditching their “layup, mid-range, three-pointer” format for their picks and simply provide two picks each, regardless of the odds.
