PropSwap Buys of the Week: Award Futures

And then there were two.

Super Bowl LVI is set. We have the matchup no one expected with the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals continued their magical playoff ride with a third straight upset of the heavily favored Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium. Quarterback Joe Burrow continued to find passing game efficiency with his star wide receivers, and an underrated Bengals defense made enough big plays to send Kansas City home for the season.

The Rams finally broke through with a win over the 49ers, a team they had failed to defeat in six straight contests. Veteran signal-caller Matthew Stafford is playing the best football of his career with eight total touchdowns and just one interception in the playoffs.

We have been able to find great Cincinnati betting opportunities on PropSwap, identifying a fantastic 8 to 1 value in last week's article. Even with just two teams remaining, there are still several fantastic fiscal opportunities for the savvy bettor.

It is also easy to identify values in other sports as well. With the NBA approaching the All-Star break, PropSwap provides several key values on every type of futures. Today, we take a look at a player who can make a late-season push for NBA Rookie of the Year.

PropSwap is an open marketplace where you can post tickets and make them available via a straight sale or a bidding process. In many ways, PropSwap is an eBay for sports tickets. It is the perfect resource for bettors who are looking to escape from an unfavorable bet or sacrifice a big payday to lock in a more modest gain. If you buy a ticket on PropSwap, it is sent to you via certified mail. If your ticket wins, it must be redeemed at a licensed sportsbook. The typical expiration date is six months or 180 days.

Each week I will examine what's available on PropSwap and highlights tickets to buy. Never used PropSwap before? Joe Burrow to Win Super Bowl MVP

  • PropSwap Odds: 2.38-1
  • Current Odds: +210 (DraftKings)
  • Ticket Cost: $68
  • Win: $230

This is the perfect situation to gain an edge on the market using PropSwap. Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow is currently listed at +210 to win Super Bowl MVP. A signal-caller has won the MVP in 31 of the 56 Super Bowls. If you want to place a wager on the Bengals quarterback to take home the trophy, why not enjoy the extra odds boost?

Burrow remains front and center to everything for Cincinnati. Going back to their Week 15 overtime loss to San Francisco, Burrow has thrown for 15 touchdowns and just two interceptions. If Cincinnati is going to pull another upset, it is very likely Burrow will again be the catalyst. Per John Ewing at BetMGM, Burrow's passing yardage prop has already moved from 274.5 to 276.5 passing yards. Vegas has felt the need to start adjusting Burrow's line higher due to the volume of incoming bets.

This is rated as a “Featured Ticket” by PropSwap, and is one of the perfect examples of why shopping for lines is critical. Why place a bet in the traditional market on Burrow for MVP, when you can find a better value ticket on PropSwap?

Scottie Barnes to Win NBA Rookie of the Year

  • PropSwap Odds: 7.10 to 1
  • Current Odds: +550 (Bovada)
  • Ticket Cost: $42
  • Win: $340

The best way to capitalize on the PropSwap market is to look for recency bias. Cleveland center Evan Mobley is the current favorite for NBA Rookie of the Year at -250, with Detroit point guard Cade Cunningham listed second at most books around +500. However, on DraftKings, Toronto's Scottie Barnes is currently second at +350, making this PropSwap ticket a fantastic opportunity.

Toronto head coach Nick Nurse has embraced Barnes at the point guard position, where he has thrived in the month of January. Barnes tallied 6+ assists in five of the team's games that month, and has reached 21+ points nine times this season. The key to a successful rookie campaign is minutes, and the Raptors rookie has seen an insane uptick in minutes played over the past two weeks. Since January 21st, Barnes has played 36+ minutes in a game five times, including a massive 56 minutes in their triple-overtime win against Miami.

With opportunity meeting ability, Barnes has a path towards stealing this award from Mobley with a strong second-half push. The Rookie of the Year race is very wide open, and at over 7-to-1 odds, this ticket is one of my favorite values currently listed on PropSwap.
