Week 13 Essential NFL Practice News & Notes for Friday

Jaguars QB Blake Bortles (right shoulder) took full practice reps all week. Bortles is good to go, but it’s a terrible matchup against the Broncos.

Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee, questionable) took limited practice reps again Friday and is questionable for Week 13. Brady should continue to play through the knee injury.

Raiders QB Derek Carr (finger/right hand) took full practice reps all week. Carr is fully expected to face the Bills.

Bears QB Jay Cutler (right shoulder, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 13. Cutler is out for the year after undergoing shoulder surgery. Matt Barkley is a Sneaky Start in a great matchup after a surprisingly productive performance last week.

Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (knee) took full practice reps again Friday. Coming off of a strong outing against New England, Fitzpatrick is a Sneaky Start against the Colts.

Colts QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder, concussion) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. Luck should be cleared by Sunday.

Bengals QB AJ McCarron (neck) took full practice reps again Friday.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer (not injury related) took full practice reps again Friday. Palmer will be fine to face Washington.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (hamstring, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 13. Rodgers is fully expected to play, but he may not be as explosive as usual as a runner in Week 13.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (foot, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 13. As uninspiring as Siemian's play was at times, he has a solid 7.4 YPA and has thrown 1.5 TD per game. Paxton Lynch is a downgrade for both Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, though both receivers had solid outings -- 5-49-1 and 7-80, respectively -- when Lynch started against the Falcons.

Chiefs QB Alex Smith (chest) was removed from the injury report Friday. Smith is a Sneaky Start against the Falcons.

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (groin) took full practice reps all week. Taylor should be fine to face the Raiders.
