Paxton Lynch injures ankle, Trevor Siemian takes the field.

Fantasy Impact:

Unfortunately, it was more of the same for the Broncos at the QB position as Lynch was just 9-for-14 for 41 yards with an interception before leaving. We'll have to see how serious the injury is and what the Broncos will do moving forward.

There's another quarterback change up in Denver.

The Broncos are starting Paxton Lynch in Week 12 against the Oakland Raiders, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and James Palmer reported.

Fantasy Impact:

This isn't really a surprise after the change in offensive coordinator Monday. Lynch may have some upside but the entire offense has struggled and their offensive line hasn't been very good, so it's hard to imagine Lynch performing any different than Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler. Still, the Broncos want to see what they have in Lynch, who gets a nice matchup against the Raiders in his first start.

OC Bill Musgrave won’t have a player the caliber of Oakland’s Derek Carr at his disposal as he prepares a game plan with the stated objective of completing more passes. HC Vance Joseph said Monday the Broncos have not decided on a quarterback for Sunday’s game at Oakland—that decision could come Tuesday—but it could be 2016 first-round draft pick Paxton Lynch, who would be making just his third career start.

Fantasy Impact:

A move to Lynch would make sense for a new coordinator coming into his first week of action. Osweiler and Trevor Siemian haven't played well behind a sketchy offensive line so it may also be a struggle for Lynch, too, if he's named the starter.
