Bucs QB Jameis Winston will have a second opinion about his fractured thumb.

Fantasy Impact:

Winston was playing with a small fracture in his thumb according to reports after the game Sunday. If Winston misses time Griffin would get the start. While Griffin would certainly have potential in that offense, he'll likely be without Mike Evans who has a serious hamstring injury.

[Jameis Winston played] with a “slight crack” in his right thumb.

Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians revealed the X-ray results after the game.

The team’s starting quarterback was having trouble gripping the ball out of halftime, and the Bucs sent him back in for X-rays. That’s why Ryan Griffin opened the second half.

Fantasy Impact:

Arians said he gave Winston his own test, trying to slap the ball out of the quarterback’s hand. Winston stayed in the game and threw for 456 yards against the Colts. We'll have to monitor how Winston's thumb holds up this week at practice.
