Packers WR Geronimo Allison (hamstring) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Allison should return this week and has a nice matchup with struggling CB Marcus Peters. Allison has averaged 4.8 catches for 72 yards and 0.50 touchdowns in four games this season.

Packers’ WRs Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison are “likely to be inactive” vs 49ers tonight on Monday Night Football, per Lisa Salters.

Fantasy Impact: 

Both are dealing with hamstring issues. The Packers may be sitting them due to their Week 7 bye, with the hope they can get by this week and both players will be back and ready to go for Week 8. Valdes-Scantling makes for a nice option for owners counting on Cobb or Allison tonight. Things will be official around 7 p.m. tonight when the inactives are announced.

Mike McCarthy said he'd give WRs Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb up until inactives Monday night to get healthy enough to play. The team didn't practice Saturday, but the injury report estimates they both would have had limited participation.

Fantasy Impact: 

Both playing on Monday night complicates things for fantasy owners. Both have hamstring injuries, which also has an increased chance of re-injury if either is active. If available, fantasy owners would be wise to start a better option at WR on Sunday if Marquez Valdes-Scantling is not available. The Packers rookie WR4 put up 7-68-1 on 10 targets last week.
