Bengals are giving former Seahawks and Broncos TE Noah Fant a one-year deal.

Bengals also have released TE Kole Taylor.

Fantasy Impact:

We can probably assume that another one of these names (if not Fant himself) will be missing from the team's final 53-man roster. Gesicki should remain the TE to target on this offense, though he can be saved until very deep in drafts.

All was making a name for himself the first half of the season, at least as an up-and-coming player. Gesicki, however, has been hot lately, too. But the future looks to be All at the TE position for the Bengals.

Former Patriots TE Mike Gesicki is signing a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Impact:

This is the best landing spot Gesicki could have asked for, as Drew Sample —a blocking TE— is the only other player on the roster at the position. This won't preclude the Bengals from drafting someone, but as it stands, Gesicki could be on streaming radars by the time the season starts.

That was fast: The Bengals are hosting FA TE O.J. Howard on a visit today, and assuming all goes well with the physical, he’s expected to sign, the source said. The former first-rounder was a surprising cut yesterday, and this should come together today.

Fantasy Impact:

Howard didn't have a great camp with the Bills, which caused his release. He had one standout game with the Bucs last year against the Eagles on a Thursday night, but other than that, it's been a while since Howard has been fantasy relevant. He could carve out a role on the Bengals, but the team has plenty of other targets for Joe Burrow. However, C.J. Uzomah - now with the Jets - was a red zone target for Burrow last season.
