Ja'Marr Chase expected to play Sunday despite ankle injury

Oct 29, 2026

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase’s ankle injury is not considered serious, and he is expected to play Sunday against Tennessee.

Fantasy Impact:

Chase remains an elite WR1 if available for his normal workload, and this report gives managers reason to keep him penciled into starting lineups. His return would also preserve Joe Burrow’s high-end QB1 upside. Should Chase unexpectedly miss Sunday, Tee Higgins would have a clear path to WR1 volume, while Dohnte Meyers would become a deeper-league FLEX consideration and Mike Gesicki would gain tight end streaming appeal.

Matthew Golden trending toward playing Thursday night

Packers WR Matthew Golden, listed as questionable with shoulder and foot injuries, is trending toward playing against the Panthers on Thursday night, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.

Fantasy Impact:

Golden would be a WR2 option if active for his usual workload, with managers able to confirm his status before tonight’s kickoff. His availability would give Jordan Love another reliable target against Carolina’s depleted secondary. If Golden sits, Christian Watson would have stronger WR1 upside and Savion Williams would become a more appealing deeper-league FLEX. Tucker Kraft remains a strong TE1 either way.

Ladd McConkey practices fully; Tre' Harris returns in limited capacity

Chargers WR Ladd McConkey was a full participant Wednesday while recovering from a concussion. Tre' Harris returned to practice on a limited basis with a hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact:

McConkey would return to the WR3/FLEX conversation if cleared, while Harris is a deeper-league stash until his availability and workload become clearer. If McConkey misses another game, Quentin Johnston would have more FLEX appeal. Getting both receivers back would improve Justin Herbert’s SuperFlex outlook, though Harris’ first practice back is no guarantee of a full Sunday workload.

Jeremiyah Love returns to limited practice; Tyler Allgeier sits

Cardinals

Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love practiced on a limited basis Wednesday with an ankle injury after missing the past two games. Tyler Allgeier did not practice because of a toe injury.

Related Players: Zonovan Knight, Evan Hull, Jacoby Brissett, Trey McBride

Fantasy Impact:

Love’s return could turn Arizona’s backfield back into a committee, making Zonovan Knight and Allgeier difficult to trust without more clarity. Love would have RB2 upside if cleared for a substantial workload. If both Love and Allgeier miss Sunday, Knight would become a much stronger RB2 option and an immediate waiver priority.
