The Commanders skill guys – Jahan Dotson (ankle) and Curtis Samuel (quad) – are healthy and playing tonight, while Bears WR Chase Claypool (other) is out once again.

Fantasy Impact:

Both Washington wide receivers had good Week 4 games as the team surprisingly pushed the Eagles into overtime. Each option had eight targets and scored double-digit half-PPR points. Both WR can be considered FLEX options ahead of a cushy Week 5 opponent.

Bears WR Chase Claypool to remain away from team for Week 5

Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool will not be with the team ahead of its Week 5 matchup in Washington, coach Matt Eberflus said during his weekly appearance on "Kap & J.Hood" on ESPN 1000.

"He's not going to be in the building this particular week on this short week," Eberflus said when asked whether Claypool would be active for the Bears' Thursday night game against the Commanders.

Fantasy Impact:

Claypool was a healthy scratch for Chicago's 31-28 loss to the Denver Broncos. The wide receiver was not at Soldier Field on Sunday and was told not to attend the game, according to a team spokesperson. Claypool has expressed frustration with role on the Bears offense.

Bears RB Khalil Herbert activated from IR

Khalil Herbert is being activated from IR, while Chase Claypool and N'Keal Harry should be on track to play Saturday. The news on Teven Jenkins is "encouraging" per Eberflus.

The 2021 sixth-round selection was having a great year up until Week 10, including a 20-157-2 performance in Week 3 and a 16-99-1 performance in Week 8, the latter of which came with David Montgomery in the lineup.
