On Sunday, Giants running back Najee Harris expressed concern about the distribution of touches in the team’s ground game. He’ll now get none at all.

Via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Giants are releasing Harris.

They haven't released him yet with the hope someone will trade for him and also take his salary of $1.215 million. Assuming no one does, Harris can sign with another team. Harris was critical of the how the team was handling their RB touches. The story said Harris was to take on a bigger role this past week but that didn't hold true. We reported Monday Skattebo only played six snaps, leaving the majority of the workload to Tracy and Singletary. It's anyone's guess as to who leads the backfield this week, making all three current RBs risky fantasy plays.

The Dolphins are signing K Zane Gonzalez after a workout today that I’m told also included 7-time Pro Bowler Justin Tucker.

Chan added a potential return for Evans could be after the bye week, if things go according to plan. That means Evans will be out for Week 7's game at Atlanta. The team's bye is Week 8 so a possible Week 9 return is on the table at home against the Raiders. No other WR outside of Evans had more than one catch on Monday night. Evans had three for 94 yards before leaving and TE Kittle had a 5-69-1 line while RB McCaffrey caught a team-high nine balls for 53 yards. It could be more of the same gameplan in Week 7 with all the injuries the Niners have at WR. Watkins and Cooks could be the team's top-two against the Falcons but look to be risky fantasy plays.
