Redskins coaches head into the offseason feeling upbeat about the team’s running backs: Roy Helu, Evan Royster and Tim Hightower.

“You can see we have some depth,” head coach Mike Shanahan said. “I think Roy has done a fantastic job as well as Royster coming in and taking advantage of an opportunity. I though Tim did a great job before he got hurt. So we have some depth at that position.”

Added offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan: “You feel like you have two guys who can help you in the future.”

Fantasy Impact:

It's interesting that Mike Shanahan mentioned all three RBs, while Kyle Shanahan only mentioned two, presumably Helu and Royster.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert suffered a broken bone in his left hand during Sunday’s game against the Raiders, head coach Jim Harbaugh said after the game.

Fantasy Impact:

Herbert will undergo surgery on Monday and it is unclear at this point how much time he will miss. Consider him questionable at best for next Monday against the Eagles. If Herbert can’t go, it would be Trey Lance getting the start. Herbert barely missed any action Sunday — Lance threw one pass — completing 15 of 20 passes for 151 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

Colts TE Tyler Warren was added to the injury report Saturday with an illness and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Texans.

Fantasy Impact:

The Colts play in the early window, so we’ll know by about 11:30 if Warren is playing. But more often than not, we see players still play, even as a late add like this with an illness. Be sure to check the inactives just to be sure.
