Vikings quarterback Brett Favre and receivers Percy Harvin and Greg Lewis all were nonparticipants when practice began on Wednesday. Favre presumably sat out to rest his smorgasbord of injuries. The reasons behind the absences of Harvin and Lewis weren't immediately known, though Harvin has been battling an ankle injury for more than a month.
