Thanks to their recent draft additions, the #Jaguars released WR Zay Jones and K Joel Slye.
Related Players: Brian Thomas Jr., Gabe Davis, Christian Kirk
The Jaguars have essentially revamped their entire wide receiver room outside of Christian Kirk. As it stands, it's probably a net-neutral for QB Trevor Lawrence, but it continues to set up Brian Thomas Jr. as the team's WR1, with Kirk operating out of the slot and Gabe Davis stretching the defenses.
Former Cowboys WR Michael Gallup plans to sign a one-year deal worth up to $3 million with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Related Players: Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker
This is a great landing spot for Gallup to try and work his way back into the fantasy consciousness. It feels like ages ago, but the former Cowboy was a consistent producer in the 2019-2020 seasons before being sidelined with a calf strain through much of 2021. Gallup could find his way into 3WR sets with some consistency after the team left the NFL Draft without a new WR.
Running back Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms, pending a physical that will bring the multi-time former Pro Bowler back, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Monday morning.
Related Players: Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn, Royce Freeman
While we figure that Elliott will be part of a rotation this season, it's hard to imagine the team went through the NFL Draft without selecting an option just to grab their former RB1 and keep him on the bench. If you're targeting a back on the Cowboys, it should be Elliott, but it may be better to take a wait-and-see approach over the next few months.
