Chase Claypool should get the most run with Mooney's absence considering they just made a move for him but the modest target share could be spread around the team's mediocre fantasy options. It's possible rookie Velus Jones gets more run as the season wraps up.
KC WR Byron Pringle - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 17 at Cincinnati Bengals
Byron Pringle had a career game last week, finishing 6-75-2 on seven targets. He benefitted as Tyreek Hill struggled following his recovery from COVID. Pringle also played a season-high 80% of the offensive snaps last week. But while it was a nice game, it's also important to remember the Chiefs were without Travis Kelce, and playing with a less-than-100% Hill. And entering last week, Pringle is a receiver who averaged 2.0 receptions for 28.7 yards. We'd expect Pringle to play more like that in Week 17 rather than repeat his Week 16 efforts. He's not much more than a WR5 play.
