Stroughter is out for the season

Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Sammie Stroughter sustained a broken right foot during second half of the team's 24-7 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Bucs head coach Raheem Morris said Monday that Stroughter is out for the season, meaning he will miss the final two regular season games against New Orleans and Atlanta.

Tampa Bay placed Stroughter on injured reserve and filled that open roster spot by promoting practice squad WR Mario Urrutia to the 53-man roster.
