Texans WR Will Fuller doesn't get traded

The Texans placed such a high value on Will Fuller, in part, because they figure they could get a third-round compensatory pick for him if he walks in free agency. In order for that to happen, though, Fuller needs to stay healthy this season and continue to perform well, then do it again the next year. Comp picks are determined by league-wide spending, snap counts and the free agents a team signs, not just the ones it loses.

Fantasy Impact: 

Reports said the Texans wanted a second round pick. The Packers were a good fit but only offered a fourth. As the story said, Houston weighed all of these factors — as well as the possibility the next Texans GM might want to keep Fuller — and decided against making a deal.
