Steelers place Michael Pittman on injured reserve

The Packers placed RB Chris Brooks on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

The Packers signed Pierre Strong Jr. on Thursday, so the backfield is still pretty crowded in Green Bay, with Strong, Kaleb Johnson and Marshawn Lloyd. The offensive line also continues to be a work in progress. For Week 5, we have Lloyd and Johnson as top-40 options at running back -- Lloyd at RB31, Johnson at RB37 -- while Strong checks in as RB75.

The Cardinals are finalizing a deal to trade WR Marvin Harrison Jr. and he will be inactive Sunday against the Lions as the team completes the deal.

No team was given as to where he will be going, but he will be going somewhere. He just won’t be playing in Week 5. The former No. 4 overall pick never gained full traction in Arizona and did not live up to his lofty expectations. It will be interesting to see where he is heading and what Arizona will receive in return. As for the Cardinals, Michael Wilson truly is the main man in the passing game, as if he wasn’t already. Kendrick Bourne, Semi Fehoko and Jalen Brooks are the other options on the outside plus Trey McBride at tight end.

Justin Jefferson (ankle) and Jordan Addison (hamstring) are questionable for Sunday after limited practices Friday. Kevin O’Connell said the team will evaluate both before deciding whether to elevate Odell Beckham Jr. from the practice squad.

Related Players: Jauan Jennings, Tai Felton, Myles Price, Odell Beckham Jr., T.J. Hockenson, Kyler Murray, Aaron Jones

Start Jefferson if cleared; Addison would have WR2 appeal and additional upside if Jefferson sits. Hockenson remains a strong TE1 and could become the offense’s primary receiving option if both WRs miss. Jennings would move into deeper-league FLEX consideration, with Felton and Price more speculative. Beckham would need an elevation and a defined role before becoming a starting option. Murray’s ceiling drops substantially if both receivers are unavailable.
