Source: Browns QB Robert Griffin III could practice Wednesday

Quarterback Robert Griffin III could be cleared to return to practice with the Cleveland Browns as early as Wednesday, a league source told ESPN.

Earlier, ESPN's Josina Anderson reported sources told her the team was discussing Griffin's possible return to practice this week.

Griffin, though, has not been cleared to play a in game and won't play Sunday when the Browns face the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fantasy Impact:

Though Griffin might be ready to practice in some form, he could be limited and would have to work his way back before practicing fully. Before he could return to practice, Griffin must be "designated to return" from injured reserve by the team. Once he begins practicing, he can practice for up to 21 days before the Browns have to make a decision on returning him to the active roster.
