It was reported Monday that Stafford wasn't ready to practice after the team said he threw around 60 passes over the weekend and would be set to go on Monday for team drills. The Rams said they will be flexible with Stafford going forward, so there is still hope he's just giving himself some extra team.

After an ugly start to the season, Titans head coach Brian Callahan has fired himself as the offensive play caller in Tennessee.

The team announced today that quarterbacks coach Bo Hardegree will call plays.

Titans offensive coordinator Nick Holz will remain in place, an unusual arrangement in which a team has an offensive coordinator but another assistant gets the play calling responsibility, the story points out. Callahan went 3-14 last season and so the leash may be getting shorter for him and his staff.
