Raiders make it official: Antonio Brown will play Week 1

Speaking to the media Friday, Raiders coach Jon Gruden said Antonio Brown will play Monday night against the Broncos.

That should, hopefully, end the speculation surrounding the wide receiver. He may not have practiced or played much, so he is certainly boon or bust, but the talent alone likely makes him worthy of a Week 1 start. But as previously noted, keep your flex options opens in case you have a more favorable matchup or one you simply feel more comfortable rolling with.

Troy Renck of Denver ABC 7 reports that RB Phillip Lindsay was limited Tuesday because of a toe injury. Renck also said the practice conducted was a walk-through ahead of Thursday night's road game against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Impact:

Lindsay missed Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay and was trending towards playing Thursday when he was listed as doubtful Friday. The Broncos could use their full complement of backs to alleviate the pressure new starting QB Brett Rypien will be facing in his first start. If he does suit up, Lindsay is more of a flex option than locked-in starter.

Jets WR Jamison Crowder told reporters on Tuesday that he believes he will play Thursday, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. "[Crowder] Said he did some cutting today and ran routes," tweeted Costello. "He has missed last 2 games with hamstring injury."

Fantasy Impact:

Good news for a Jets offense void of receiving talent due to injury. A healthy Crowder will be peppered with targets by Sam Darnold. The Jets slot receiver would fall into WR3 territory after missing two games.

Dallas Goedert (ankle) placed on IR

The Philadelphia Eagles have placed TE Dallas Goedert on Injured Reserve with a fractured ankle, according to the team's official Twitter account.

Fantasy Impact:

Goedert will miss at least three weeks, and his timeline for return extends well past the three-week minimum. Goedert's spot on the roster was filled with the signing of Hakeem Butler, who will transition to tight end.
