Raiders claim WR Kenbrell Thompkins

Former Patriots receiver Kenbrell Thompkins was claimed off waivers by the Raiders, per NFL Network. He had six catches for 53 yards this season for the Patriots.

Fantasy Impact:

Seems like a good fit for the Raiders who are struggling for playmakers on offense and at WR. Rod Streater is out for the next few weeks so Thompkins has a chance to jump right in this Raiders offense.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh told reporters that TE Isaiah Likely rolled his ankle and is now expected to miss a few weeks.

Fantasy Impact:

This should put him on track to be ready for Week 1, which is a sigh of relief for deep-league managers and Ravens fans alike. He should remain firmly in TE2 territory, with Andrews missing time a requisite for him being a consistent fantasy option.

Fantasy Impact:

This appears to be the second time Jennings has dealt with a calf injury, including one back in OTAs. This doesn't bode well for his bid for a restructured contract (or trade) that he's been waiting on this summer, and could open the door for more Pearsall usage ahead of a season they will be missing Brandon Aiyuk for at least a portion of.

Chiefs WR Hollywood Brown leaves practice with an ankle injury

Chiefs coach Andy Reid says WR Hollywood Brown left practice with an ankle injury.

"I don't think it's too bad, but we'll see."

Reid says WR Xavier Worthy "banged his head."

Fantasy Impact:

Looks like a bad day at the office for the WR room. With Rice potentially missing a portion of the season due to suspension, the Chiefs can't afford to be missing either Brown or Worthy for any time. We'll keep an eye on things, but it's obviously a good sign that Reid doesn't seem overly concerned.
