Bears HC Ben Johnson told ESPN 1000 that he expects QB Caleb Williams to be “week to week” with the hamstring injury that he suffered Sunday. Williams underwent an MRI this morning.

It seemed unlikely Williams was going to be able to get right back on the field, despite not being ruled out for Week 3, according to our report earlier today. So, the week to week timeline makes some sense. The Bears have also said they expect Williams to miss time. While it's overall still good news, fantasy owners now likely won't have him for Week 3 against the Eagles, allowing them to make alternate plans sooner than later. The hope now is Williams has a chance to play in Week 4. The Bears host the Jets in the early slate of games in Week 4.

The Bears aren't ruling him out for Week 3 against the Eagles. As we reported earlier today, Williams was in good spirits after the game. More good news is the game is on Monday night, so the additional time could give him a legit chance to play in Week 3. The bad news is, the game is on Monday night ... so for fantasy owners who want or need Williams in their lineup you may have a tough decision to make Sunday morning. A game-time call could be in the future, which would make for a lot of headaches for fantasy owners. Hopefully injury reports this week will give us a better indication of how Williams is trending.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert to get MRI on his knee.

Geodert was not able to return to the game. Rapoport said there is no new information but believes Geodert could end up missing some time as a result. Owners should probably have a backup plan in place now. Stowers did not show much in the offseason and was out for both Weeks 1 and 2 so far this season. Mundt and Jenkins would be next up but likely won't be fantasy options.
