Palmer expected to miss another game

Bengals QB Carson Palmer is expected to miss another preseason game because of a sprained left ankle.
Palmer didn't participate in the Bengals' practice Monday, getting treatment on his ankle instead. Palmer suffered the injury during the preseason opener, and sat out a game last Thursday against New England.
He's not expected to play Thursday night against the St. Louis Rams at Paul Brown Stadium. Palmer said Monday he's confident he'll be ready for the season opener against the Denver Broncos because the ankle is getting better each day.
