Malik Nabers carted off with knee injury

Giants WR Malik Nabers was carted off the field with a knee injury during Sunday’s game against the Chargers.

Fantasy Impact:

Nabers’ knee appeared to buckle while going for a deep pass and leaping for the ball. He immediately grabbed his knee and did not get up. We’ll have updates on this injury but early speculation (emphasis on the word speculation) is it could be a torn ACL. We’ll wait for confirmation on the actual injury.

Update: Multiple reports are now saying it is indeed likely a torn ACL for Nabers.

Chuba Hubbard, Tetairoa McMillan both expected to play Sunday

Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard and WR Tetairoa McMillan are both expected to play Sunday against the Patriots.

Fantasy Impact:

Both were listed as questionable with calf injuries and were limited Thursday and Friday but are trending in the right direction. The Panthers are dealing with injuries in the passing game with WR Xavier Leggette and TE Ja’Tavion also injured. Hubbard is RB20 and McMillan is WR21 this week.

Darren Waller to make Dolphins debut Monday

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel announced Saturday that TE Darren Waller will play and make his team debut Monday against the Jets.

Fantasy Impact:

This will be Warren’s first game since the end of the 2023 season with the Giants afree initially retiring before the 2024 season and then coming out of retirement and being traded to Miami. Waller will likely play a limited number of snaps as he recovers from a hip injury. None of Miami’s tight ends are worth playing this week.

Jaylen Warren expected to play Sunday, Steelers elevate Trey Sermon

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren, who was added to the injury report Friday with a knee injury, is expected to play Sunday against the Vikings in Dublin, Ireland.

Fantasy Impact:

Perhaps as a precautionary measure, the Steelers also elevated RB Trey Sermon from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Warren was limited in practice all week but also had a rest day this week. As a reminder, this game kicks off at 9:30 am eastern, so the inactives list will be announced at 8:00. Prepare accordingly. Warren sits as our RB19 this week.
