Dolphins placed RB Kalen Ballage on injured reserve and claimed RB Zach Zenner off of waivers from the Cardinals.

Laird and Gaskins figured to split a lot of the work the rest of the way with Zenner likely getting some touches as well. None of these guys are exactly a desirable fantasy football adds, especially as we head into the playoffs.

Miami Dolphins running back Kalen Ballage’s disappointing season may have ended due to an injury he suffered in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Dolphins trainers appeared to examine Ballage’s left Achilles tendon on the field after he suffered the injury while untouched and running a route out of the backfield during the second quarter.

Laird finished with a 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that helped seal Miami’s third victory of the season. However, he did finish with 5 net yards on 10 carries. Gaskin finished with two carries for 20 yards.

Kalen Ballage will remain starter this week, Flores said.

The tweet went on to say, as the snap counts indicated, things were pretty close - Ballage 24, Laird 23, Gaskin 16. This looks like a committee going forward and probably a situation to avoid as far as fantasy lineups go.
