Quincy Enunwa had not been on a football field in a game situation since Jan. 1, 2017, when he walked into MetLife Stadium on Friday night.
The Jets wide receiver missed last season after neck surgery and missed the first two preseason games this year with a thumb injury. But Enunwa returned to action against the Giants and caught two passes for 28 yards. He moved around fine and showed no signs of rust.
Enunwa said it was exhausting, but other than that seemed quick according to HC Todd Bowles. In 2016, Enunwa had 58 catches for 857 yards and 4 TDs.
