Over a four-month season, Nate Kaeding established himself as the most accurate field-goal kicker in the NFL. Yet, that body of work will be overshadowed by one highly disappointing afternoon in which he missed left, right and short.
"I've missed field goals before in games and been able to come back and execute the next one," Kaeding said. "So that's part of the deal. You're not going to make them all. You're charged with the responsibility of putting the ball through the uprights regardless of whether you made the last one or you missed it. I missed them all today."
