Colts QB Anthony Richardson suffered an orbital fracture during pregame warmups before Indy’s game against the Cardinals Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Head coach Shane Steichen told reporters the news after the game. This explains the Colts making Richardson inactive Sunday and having Riley Leonard backing up Daniel Jones. Richardson reportedly suffered the injury in the locker room during to a malfunctioning piece of apparatus. Richardson was taken to the hospital. The Colts won, 31-27, to improve to 5-1.

Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka will miss time with a hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Egbuka will get an MRI today. Rapoport said the injury doesn't seem as serious as Evans' hamstring injury, but it's looking like he's going to at least miss this week's game against the Lions. The Bucs then play the Saints before their Week 9 bye, so it's very possible we don't see Egbuka until Week 10. Rapoport said Evans is getting closer to a return and Godwin is week to week. Anyone on the Bucs who plays the WR position could be in play for fantasy lineups, at least for Week 7. It was Kam Johnson and Tez Johnson who both stood out with TD catches against the 49ers.

Chiefs WR Rashee Rice’s six-game suspension is now over and he is eligible to play Sunday vs. the Raiders.

The Chiefs and Mahomes get back another weapon for their offense which looks to be clicking, at least at times this season, especially this week when knocking off the Lions on Sunday night. When we last saw Rice to start 2024, he collected 24 catches on 29 targets in three games, piling up 288 yards and two touchdowns. It may take a little time to get Rice up to speed, but Rice was with the team in training camp before his suspension started which should only help. The Chiefs host the Raiders in Week 7 in an early Sunday game.
