Colts CB Vontae Davis may play in Week 15

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Vontae Davis appears to be heading back into the lineup for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Davis practiced Wednesday, albeit with a non-contact red jersey, because he's still going through the NFL's concussion protocol. He missed last weekend's game against the Cleveland Browns because he still hadn't been cleared from the concussion suffered against the Washington Redskins on Nov. 30. The plan, according to coach Chuck Pagano, is for Davis to practice again Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

This is important because it will impact the Houston receivers. Davis covered Andre Johnson for most of the previous matchup, but that was before Hopkins established himself as the Texans' top receiver. Johnson is recovering from his own concussion and is iffy for Sunday. if he's out, Davis will very likely spend a lot of time covering Hopkins.
