Calvin Johnson attended but did not take part in the Lions’ three-day minicamp last week as he recovers from surgery on his right knee and a finger on his left hand. But he moved very well as he darted around the field.
The Lions begin their organized team activities May 20. Johnson said he had no timetable for on-field debut this offseason.
“It feels good,” he said of the knee. “It’s definitely coming around. We’ve got all this time right now to get it strong, take our time. There’s no need to rush back.”
Johnson didn't crack the 100-yard mark or score a TD after Week 13 and missed the final game of the season. A healthy Calvin is still the top fantasy receiver, but his knee issues have to be a worry for owners thinking about taking him in the first round of 2014 fantasy drafts.
