On his KDKA-FM radio show, QB Ben Roethlisberger said it is his intention to play against the Ravens, although he said much can change in the next five days.
“That's always the goal,” he said. “It's AFC North football. It's Baltimore. I want to be out there. I always want to be out there. You have to be cautious of looking too far ahead. ... You don't know how (the knee) is going to react to extra work that we're going to try to do (in practice Wednesday).”
Roethlisberger ran the no-huddle offense at the beginning of Monday's workout. Teammates said he looked good and looked like himself but also seemed to suggest they didn't think he'd return that quick. Sounds like the key will be how his knee reacts to practice the day after as the week goes on.
