Aaron Rodgers to get scans on collarbone

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is scheduled to have scans performed on his shoulder Tuesday that should determine how much healing has occurred since he fractured his collarbone.

Team doctors will evaluate the results, discuss them with Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy. A determination is expected to be made later Tuesday as to whether Rodgers will play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Impact:

Mike McCarthy's presser on Monday was pushed back to Tuesday afternoon, so we should find out about Rodgers later today. A story came out yesterday that doctors are looking to play it very cautious with Rodgers rather than risk putting him back out there before he's ready. The Packers feel they need to win out to even have a chance at the playoffs, so they very well may think shutting him down for the season is in everyone's best interest - except for fantasy owners of course. Stay tuned...
