The Chiefs suddenly found themselves short at RB after trading Knile Davis a few weeks ago and with Jamaal Charles continuing to have knee issues. Last week, Spencer Ware suffered a concussion and is questionable this week.
All signs were pointing toward both because available and making their returns tonight and the teams made that official tonight. Both should be back involved for a huge game for first place in the AFC South but it will be interesting to see if there is any limitations, particularly with Fuller. Nonetheless, very good to see both back in action.
Good to see both, especially Kittle, back at practice, even if they aren’t fully contacting yet. We’ll see how the team handles the pair Friday and both get all day Sunday to rest with the game being in prime time. At the very least, both should be considered questionable for Sunday night.
Fuller has not played since leaving Week 7’s loss to the Colts early with that hamstring injury so this will be a very nice return for the Texans for a very important game in the AFC South. Fuller would slide right back in with DeAndre Hopkins and Kenny Stills, opening the field up more for DeShaun Watson. Fuller may not have a big game like he did against the Falcons, but you have to imagine he’ll be back involved in the offense in some capacity, even if it’s limited tonight as he returns from injury.
