Fantasy Football QB Streaming Week 2: Last Call To Add Tyler Shough

There were plenty of excellent quarterback performances in Week 1. Five quarterbacks threw for at least 320 yards, and eight quarterbacks had at least three touchdowns. There were even seven quarterbacks who had at least one rushing touchdown. That included Josh Allen and Caleb Williams, who had two rushing scores each.

As we turn our attention towards Week 2, there are still some appealing streaming options on the waiver wire in many leagues. That’s good news for fantasy managers who may have lost Kyler Murray (concussion) or Sam Darnold (glute) in Week 1.

Week 2 Recap

There were a lot of big names that came through with gaudy stat lines in Week 1. As far as our streaming options from last week, Jacoby Brissett led the way, finishing as QB15. He threw for 277 yards and one touchdown in the Cardinals’ upset victory on the road against the Chargers. He completed 73.0% of his passes and leaned heavily on Trey McBride, who caught nine of 13 targets for 95 yards and one touchdown,

The biggest disappointment from last week was Geno Smith, who finished as QB28. His big problem was that the Jets didn’t ask him to do much in their convincing win over the Titans. He only attempted 24 passes, although he completed 19 of them for 215 yards. He did not throw an interception, which is notable for him because he combined for 32 interceptions across 32 games in the last two seasons.
