Week 4 IDP Waiver Wire: Pickups & Targets (Fantasy Football 2025)

First, let's start with the Nick Bosa news out of San Francisco. My deepest condolences if you lost Bosa this week, and truthfully, you won't find anyone in the article to replace him. That's part of why anchor defensive ends go first in IDP drafts; their role is more skill-driven, while linebackers rely on opportunities, and defensive backs require specific alignments to be viable every week. Hopefully, between this article and the Wednesday matchup column, I can help you piece together something to hold your squad together. It's like drafting Puka Nucua. You can't add Tutu Atwell and call it a day.
Last week's Waiver Wire column is worth reviewing, too, because a few of the players listed had strong weeks and are still priority adds for Week 4.
Don't overreact to a slow performance from one of your team's anchor IDP'ers, but don't be afraid to turn over some of the players at the bottom of your roster if someone with more appealing usage or alignment is available to scoop up. I always recommend being proactive on the waiver wire at the beginning of the season.
My intention here is to cater to a wide variety of leagues every week. IDP leagues are like snowflakes, so if you have specific questions, jump into our subscriber Discord, find the IDP channel, and tag me with any questions you have.
Some of you play in leagues where all of these players are already owned, and some of you play in IDP leagues where only 3-4 players are rostered on each team, so the players listed below might not even be on your radar, so don't be afraid to reach out with specific questions. For now, expect at least one recommendation for shallow, medium, and deep leagues.

Week 4 IDP Waiver Wire
Defensive Line
Byron Murphy II - Seattle Seahawks
We're starting to see why the Seahawks drafted Byron Murphy in the first round last year. He dealt with injuries as a rookie, but he's starting to come into his own in Year 2. He's right on that 70% snap threshold that I want to see for defensive linemen, and he has legit pass rush chops despite playing from the interior. He's a priority add in DT-required leagues.
