NFL Spread and O/U Picks: Hunter's Week 16 Best Bets
Week 15 presented as an awful week for the ‘In the hunt’ crowd. The Lions, Cowboys, Panthers, Dolphins, Bengals, and, most notably, the Chiefs all lost their respective games. The last 3 listed teams saw their playoff hopes extinguished outright. The Chiefs do so in an especially shocking fashion, losing Patrick Mahomes in the process, potentially even into the 2026 season. The Chiefs also have no playoff aspirations for the first time since 2014! Mahomes is also trending right along the Tom Brady career by tearing his ACL in Year #9 after winning 3 Super Bowls. The actual rights to the GOAT claim is still within his reach if he can continue the high level of play after his return from injury.
Week 15 recap: 3-5 for -4.05 units. Not my best week, obviously, mostly due to getting my hands caught in the cookie jar trying to double up on two games. Those bets resulted in a 0-4 turnout. Sometimes, you just have the wrong script in a high-leverage game…
