Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 3

The Week 2 NFL action continued to deliver surprises, but we also saw two sure things at the tight end position return to action and prove their dominance. Mark Andrews (TE3) and Travis Kelce (TE4) saw their first in-game action and predictably finished in the top-four position, making streaming a tad more difficult. Nonetheless, we’ll continue to dig into streaming options that can come close to replicating their success, and, on the positive side, those Andrews and Kelce managers won’t be getting in our way for waiver wire options anymore.

For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.

To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 2 Recap

Not a shabby week in the slightest, as we hit on three top-12 options and had our first graduation of the season. After back-to-back top-two weeks, Hunter Henry is now rostered in 55% of Yahoo leagues, pulling him out of streaming recommendations, where he’ll likely stay for the rest of the season.
