Today’s NBA Player Prop Bets (March 4, 2023)

Jeremy Sochan Over 23.5 Points + Rebounds (-109 at Caesars)

The Spurs remain ultra-thin on Saturday as they look to strengthen their position in the race for Victor Wembanyama, as Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson, and Malakai Branham have all been ruled out.

This should force a massive amount of responsibility onto Sochan’s shoulders, and it’s a load that he’s proven time and time again he’s capable of carrying. Leading the team with a 97.5-minute sample size this season with those three and Jakob Poeltl (traded) off the floor, Sochan has averaged 14.03 points and 7.4 rebounds per 36 minutes. While this is lower than expected, it’s not entirely indicative of his current role.

Last game with Johnson out of the lineup, Sochan posted a 34.9% usage rate en route to a 22-point, 13-rebound double-double. This was the second time in the last three games posting a usage rate of 28% or higher while scoring at least 22 points. As the team continues to tank, his leash has gotten longer and longer.

A matchup with the Houston Rockets is a dream spot, making this a perfect environment for Sochan to continue his torrid pace.
