Fantasy Football: Final Thoughts for the Last Draft Weekend
We’re roughly one week away from the first NFL game–Bills at Rams next Thursday on NBC–and there will be countless drafts held this weekend, so it’s a good time to discuss a few of the late-breaking storylines of the summer.
In last year’s version of this article, I recommended that fantasy managers “buy the dip” on Darrell Henderson after the Sony Michel trade. He proceeded to post low-end RB1 numbers until his injury in Week 10. I also recommended drafting Gus Edwards (who ended up tearing his ACL), James Robinson (RB17 until his Achilles tear), and Michael Pittman (WR15 for the year) after injuries to J.K. Dobbins, Travis Etienne, and T.Y. Hilton, respectively.
So what do the last few weeks of this draft season have in store for managers? Let’s take a look.
Wait, Antonio Gibson might be a thing again?
