9 Rookie Linebackers to Target in IDP Leagues in 2022

Over the last few seasons, rookie linebackers have had a difficult time getting on the field. Linebackers are being asked to do more on the field and have more responsibility, so the learning curve is becoming a bit steeper.

In 2021, only one linebacker played more than 900 snaps; Micah Parsons. No other rookie LB played more than 650 snaps. In this article, I identify the rookie linebackers who have the potential to play a full-time role in 2022.

Devin Lloyd, LB, Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars unloaded the chamber for Foyesade Oluokun but had some gaps to fill with the departures of Myles Jack and Damien Wilson. Jacksonville drafted one of the best off-ball linebackers in the draft in Devin Lloyd.
