Waiver Wire Watch: Week 10

After a couple of rough games, Tebow hit the waiver wire again and is now available in 33% of ESPN leagues. He had a nice outing against the Raiders (124 passing yards, 2 TDs, 118 rushing yards) and the Chiefs pass defense is coming off a bad game against Matt Moore and the Dolphins.

In a great matchup against Denver, Palmer threw for 332 yards and three TDs, but also threw three interceptions. His Week 10 matchup against the Chargers is mediocre, but San Diego is coming off of two rough losses to the Chiefs and the Packers.

His upcoming schedule (PIT, BAL, CLE, PIT, HOU) is pretty rough, but if you want to give yourself another option for your QBBC during the fantasy playoffs and have an open roster spot, consider Dalton for his Week 15 & Week 16 matchups against the Rams and Cardinals. After tossing three TDs against the Titans, Dalton now has eight TDs in his last four games.

We're hesitant to recommend Cassel after he failed to throw a TD in a great matchup with the Dolphins, but he has the Broncos in Week 10 and it's another great matchup.

Bradford didn't do much (255 yards, INT) in a great matchup with the Cardinals, but he missed a lot of practice last week and hadn't had much time to build a rapport with new WR Brandon Lloyd. (Lloyd did lead the Rams in receiving with five catches for 80 yards, so that's a good sign.) I wouldn't want to use him in Week 10 against the Browns, who are a bad matchup for QBs, but he'd be startable against Seattle and Arizona in Week 11 & Week 12.

Smith has been serviceable this season, and given his next two matchups (NYG & ARI) he should put up decent fantasy stats for owners in a pinch.

Helu got the surprise start in a terrible matchup with the 49ers rush defense, but still managed 41 yards on 10 carries. Where he made a major impact was in the passing game, catching 14 passes -- yes, FOURTEEN -- for 105 yards. We're not saying he's a great pickup because Mike Shanahanigans might decide to give Ryan Torain another shot, but at this point it's Helu's job to lose. At a thin position, we'll take it.
