Chargers RB Kimani Vidal, who left Sunday's win over the Cowboys early, was diagnosed with a neck strain and is considered day-to-day, source says after the MRI.

Fantasy Impact:

Vidal could miss time, but the belief is that it's not serious, the post went on to say. He'll be worth monitoring this week in practice, but it looks like Hampton could see a bigger workload with Haskins mixing in as the team's RB2.

Fantasy Impact:

Hampton looks to be good to go for Monday night in what could be a favorable matchup against the Eagles defense that was run over by the Bears last week, and will also be without DT Jalen Carter. It remains to be seen what Hampton's workload could look like, and it's possible Vidal and Haskins are involved too.

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (questionable, ankle) is expected to play Monday against the Eagles.

Fantasy Impact:

Hampton has not played since Week 5. He practiced in full on Friday and Saturday. He’ll face an Eagles defense that will be without star defensive tackle Jalen Carter. However, it remains to be seen how quickly he gets back into game shape. The Chargers could very well use some sort of committee between Hampton and Kimani Vidal. We have Hampton as RB27 this week.

It’s currently viewed as likely that Chargers starting running back Omarion Hampton will be able return to action and play next Monday when the team faces the Eagles, sources tell CBS Sports.

Fantasy Impact:

Hampton has missed the last seven games with an ankle injury. The Chargers will probably welcome back Hampton with a nice workload, especially with QB Justin Herbert in question because of a hand injury. The Bolts are playing the Eagles who just allowed two, 100-yard rushers to the Bears on Black Friday. The only negative is this is a Monday night game, so Hampton owners will want to back themselves up just to be safe. Vidal will likely have a role in this game as well, especially of Herbert isn't able to play.
