The Colts ruled RB Zack Moss out for Week 16 against the Falcons.

Fantasy Impact: 

Moss was initially listed as questionable for Sunday but the Colts downgraded him Saturday. Jonathan Taylor should have most of the backfield to himself. The Colts could still use Trey Sermon a bit but Taylor is a top-five running back for us now as the Colts look to keep not only their playoff hopes alive but their division hopes. The Colts, Jaguars and Texans all sit at 8-6.

The Colts did not practice today, but on their estimated report:

- RB Jonathan Taylor was a full participant
- WR Michael Pittman, Jr. was a limited participant
- RB Zack Moss was a non-participant

Fantasy Impact: 

Still early in the week to project exact usage for the Colts skill position players with so much still up in the air, but we'll keep an eye on it. If Pittman does go, he is in a decent spot against the Falcons, and would boost Gardner Minshew into streaming consideration.

Jonathan Taylor

Colts optimistic that RB Jonathan Taylor will be available for Week 16

Colts coach Shane Steichen told reporters that RB Jonathan Taylor is progressing well and will participate in the walk-through today (as he's done the last few weeks).

There remains optimism that Taylor will go this week, but he'll be evaluated on a daily basis.

Fantasy Impact: 

The Colts backfield is an abject mess for fantasy purposes right now, with Moss also pushing to play after injuring his shoulder last week. As of right now, we should be trying to avoid all of the pieces until we get some form of confirmation on Taylor/Moss, or what the workload may look like for Sermon/Goodson.

Colts running back Zack Moss exited Saturday’s game against the Steelers with a shoulder injury, but he’s optimistic about playing on Sunday against the Falcons.

Related players: Trey Sermon, Jonathan Taylor, Tyler Goodson

Fantasy Impact: 

Moss’s X-rays were negative and he plans to try to play on Sunday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. With Moss and Taylor hurt, Sermon and Goodson filled in more than capably. Even if Moss can't go this week, the team could have Taylor back, so that's a situation to monitor as well as the week goes on.
